Michal Neuvirth likely would have gotten the start

"Obviously they’re a great team and I can see they’re playing with a lot of experience," said Neuvirth, a former Capital. "In the third period they don’t give us much. We’ve got to make sure we play with the lead and obviously their D corps and goaltender is playing really good. We are down 3-0, but we’ve got to focus on winning the game (Wednesday) and anything can happen."

One game at a time now. The good ol must win game.........

One thing for sure that I want to see if the Flyers get down in this game I want to see the Fans act like human beings and they better not start throwing crap on the ice. They need to show some class tonight if there team gets down that they can handle it without those sort of stupid actions.

I say F-it, why prolong the agony. Take 5 or 6 vets and list them as day to day and dress the black aces. Let them play and let Hextall and the fans see what we have to work with moving forward.

All I ask is that we go out with a little dignity, both on the ice and in the stands!

I'm definitely not predicting a score of this game because if I go with my gut and say the Capitals wrap it up tonight I feel like I'll be berated by the ton of Flyers fans on here. :)

I would actually like to see the Flyers pull this one out, but just don't know how it will happen.

I wanna say we win this one, but I just can't see it happening

We shall all know in a few hours. If they do win and Neuvirth does great does that mean he is the Goalie the next game?

I'm sorry, am the only one who that hit was interference on Carlson?  And Sam Gagner, where the hell is the guy who scored 8 points in a game.  Can't wait until he is gone.

That kind of interference happens all the time and isn't called. I hope Laughton is okay. That play was scary looking.

I hope they have some information on Laughton after the game or at least on the NHL Network later tonight. I hope he is O.K.

He's at Jefferson Hospital for precautions.

Whelp, that was an interesting game. For the first two periods, the Flyers played the way they should have all playoffs- more confident nd playing in a more cohesive way. The last period... not as good. It just felt like they were trying to run down a 20 minute power play. The Flyers stopped a clean sweep, let's see if they can win the next one!
