None of the above ..... I will watch hockey but won't for a team.  I will root against the Hawks / Pens / Caps / Rags.

Truthfully...when in finally comes on TV ...I'll find a junior team....

I wasn't really cheering for any team from the onset anyway. I did predict The Capitals to win it all in my brackets, but to be honest I'd like to see them get upset along the way. As an underdog team I'd like to see Nashville do well.

I've been watching the San Jose/LA series. I don't see a team that can beat either of those to teams. I'm not a fan of either team but I tune in because it's only thing on late at night and I'm pretty blown away with both teams. Although I can say that the only reason it's not a 3-0 series is because of Quick. San Jose has really ramped it up this playoff. I think as the playoffs go on and you have Ovi taking 1 to 1:30 minute shifts it's going to come back and haunt you. I just don't see Washington being able to beat whoever comes out of the West. I don't even see the Capitals getting past the Penguins.

The Kings are the team I predicted to make it to the Finals to go up against the Capitals. No doubt the SJ and LA series is a great series and the team that survives that series is going to go far.

I just don't want the following teams to win: Washington Capitals, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers, New York Islanders, Detroit Red Wings, Pittsburgh Penguins, LA Kings and Chicago Blackhawks

Well definitely the teams that have won recently like the Red Wings, Blackhawks, Kings, Penguins, and Lightning I don't want to win.

If I'm going by which fanbase I'd want to see get a Cup, then I never want a team from a "non-hockey" market like Florida, Dallas or Arizona to win a Cup.  Tough with California teams too (something about coming to a January game in board shorts irks me).  I like the teams that have that long time passionate fan base.  The ones that aren't going to games sipping lattes and talking about everything but hockey.  The fans who understand the nuances of the game - like boo'ing when a face-off is moved outside the zone because they believe it shouldn't be.  I don't like fanbases of teams which have a large majority of fans who don't know, and don't care to know a thing about the team's history.

On that logic, as much as I may despise them I think I do so because they are rivals, and knowledgeable fans.  Rangers, Islanders, Red Wings, Hawks, Penguins, Wild.  All solid fan bases.  If I had to pick one of those, it's probably the Islanders or Wild.

If I'm going by players on the team, then I'd like to see Jagr win in Florida & close out his career.

I put my vote in for the Wild however, they are likely to face the same fate the Flyers face in the first round.

My second vote is divided for several teams I'd like to win the cup.  Sharks, Panthers, Predators, Blues, and I think I can put Dallas in that vote also as it once was my favorited North Stars.

I'm just the opposite of you @eleven24 , I'd like it when the nontraditional markets win.   It grows the fanbase, it inspires future hockey players like Ghost and Mathews.
