notfondajane
The way it looks the Pens domaibate the Rangers at MSG, and the Rangers domaibate here in Pittsburgh! If that remains true to form, Pens win the series 4 3! Which would be a pleasant surprise to me! Then again my favorite goalie isn't in net! I'm hoping the Pens take the next two! I think the main thing in this series is if Murray can keep up the play he had last night and if Lundqvist gets into his shutdown mode.

Could be interesting! I honestly believe that the Pens have the edge in scoring! If the Pens dmen could keep the Rangers around 20 or so shots. The advantage is to the Pens! IMO, the key is the Pens dmen playing well!

I would give the edge on the defensive side to the Rangers. Can those good Rangers D-Men shut down those scorers of the Penguins is a key. I think the Penguins D-Men have it a bit easier, but not that easy. They will still have to work hard. I still really think which Goalie becomes lights out in these remaining games. I have to give Lundqvist the advantage just because he has been there done that.
Polaris922
Fleury, Murray, or Zatkoff win this series. Murray has yet to really have a bad game in the big leagues and doesn't look likely to anytime soon. I honestly think he's playing better hockey than even Fleury was when Fleury was winning games for us before his injury. Despite what notfondajane says, Fleury was the team's MVP until Crosby went ballistic the end of the season. And though Zatkoff isn't as sharp as those two, his 2.65 GAA is strong enough to win it when our offense keeps clicking.

nossagog
Looking good so far, 4-0 Pens after two. Queue the infographics on the Pens record this year leading after two. Team is playing with a lot of speed, and are really winning the puck battles in the corners. I though the Rangers physical play might wear some of the young guys down, but they keep goin. nossagog
Quite the game for the Pens. Expected a lot more from the Rangers. Pens seem to be clicking on all cylinders at the moment. Time to close it out back in the 'burgh on Saturday.

mojo1917
i can't tell if the Rags are quiting on Alain Vigneault or what, but they looked horrible last night. That was one of the more dominant performances i've seen all year. The Pens won nearly every battle, every foot race. were way harder on the puck. It really looked to me like they were playing vs an AHL team last night. Kris Krieder what the hell is going on there, when i first saw him i thought wow, that kid is going to be great, last night he was all dog, stupid, lazy, wow. At this point i can't tell whether the Pens are really taking the Rangers to the woodshed or the Rangers have some other issue, but I can't see how the Pens don't close this out on Saturday. This is exactly the first round series your guys needed. look out in the east your Pens are probably the team to beat. This shouldn't surprise me, as the Pens have moved to a more speed based team, but it still does. Sheary, Rust, Khunhackl . . . are not big players, but it seemed like everytime they went into corners with a 50/50 puck, the Pens came out with it. I thought the Rangers would use their size more, but it hasn't been effective at all. I'm not sure what the Rangers need to do to change, but by the end of last night the benched looked like were ready for summer.
notfondajane
The Pens finally figured out how to put the puck behind Lundquist! Which in the past gave The Pens fits! It's starting to show that the Pens are the better team! I believe last year the Pens may have been out coached;
