Podein25
We need a young dman, around 21-26. Not another 30+ guy that won't last long here.Problem is, many D-men don't really reach their prime until after 26. And by then they start to cost lots of $$$. Just sayin'For example, look at a guy like Bieksa. Guess how old he is (without looking it up)?. You'll be surprised....

Pronger's contract will end just about there and the salary cap should go up. But why worry about that now, we desperately need a no.1 dman right now or in the very near future if Pronger is done and Timo retires after next season. flyercanuck
@FlyersFan4Life I wondered the same thing. But he's not totally insane, so I don't think it is.
Podein25
@Vincent05 - sure I'm all for getting a young D-man. Wish we hadn't traded Sbisa. But most 21 year old D you are not gonna want seeing out there for 20+ minutes. They just aren't experienced enough, with few exceptions. Now if he is going to play as a top 4 guy, I have no problem with that....
doom88
Marc Andre Bourdon (22)Kevin Marshall (22)Erik Gustafsson (23)Blake Kessel (22)Oskars Bartulis (24)Oliver Lauridsen (22)---Braydon Coburn (26)Andrej Meszaros (26)Matt Carle (27)I think we're just fine. Maybe we should sit tight and let the guys we have develop? Bourdon is showing a lot of promise. He skates well, enjoys delivering hits, and has a decent shot. Is he perfect? No. None of them are. Let them learn, and hopefully the good ones will remain Flyers.
Bertmega
@FlyersFan4LifeNo he/she is not. I think I asked Digi as soon as I saw the name pop up on the message board. It is so nice to have fans from other teams that are actually intelligent and respectful of other board members.
