His contract expired, he took a season off from hockey, then tried to make a comeback with the Panthers, then with Dallas, but obviously, as his age, and after taking a year off, the game had well passed him by. Let's face it: when you are in Dallas and are the back up to Kari Freakin Lehtonen, you KNOW it's time to hang'em up! And hang'em up he did.
