Dregger says Tallon, and sticking to it. One local guy comes out and says he respects darren but his sources say no change, erases tweet, than comes out and says no change again. which he restated this morning. Other local guy says tallon just has more say than he had. front office guys saying no change. Viola, the owner, saying Tallon always had last say(lie). National running with Tallon has control. Sounds like the Panthers not having the decency to give story to local guys first, but can we get a strait answer? Also hoping this isnt a move to make Tallon the scapegoat. Lets face it, not alot he can do this point into season. Gm more important moves in offseason, but i can see this group saying , well the team didnt make playoffs and its his fault, even though he didnt make the moves to hurt the team. In ascending order...we will start with the coaching staff: https://www.nhl.com/panthers/team/coaches Very quickly, it lists Tom Rowe with all his titles...but interestingly, all seem in the PAST TENSE....including General Mangaer and Interim Head Coach. Let's just say he is Head Coach right now (possibly GM...yea, I know, helpful, aren't I? ). In the link, you can also see who the associate/assistants/etc are. Next, we have Front Office personnel: https://www.nhl.com/panthers/team/frontoffice I don't see Tallon or Rowe listed anywhere here... THEN we have Hockey Operations: https://www.nhl.com/panthers/team/hockeyops Ahhh....here we are! So...if their website is to be believed, then: ---Dale Tallon is President of Hockey Operations ---Tom Rowe is GM / Interim Head Coach (Oooooo, look...I was right before....and here I thought I mucked things up further...lol) Then you have a bunch of other people listed ranging from alternate governors/assistant GM's all the way down to the flippin Equipment Managers. And YES, I capitalized "Equipment Managers" because those guys don't get enough credit. Without them, some players wouldn't know how to put on shoulder pads..... And finally, at the top, is Vincent J. Viola. https://www.nhl.com/panthers/team/owner Owner and basically THE law in the Panthers organization. You know, the guy who SHOULD be clearing this mess up if the people he hired can't seem to straighten themselves out as to who is doing what. I don't know if I helped or hindered, but there it is.
