Bow Ties

If you're looking for a stocking stuffer for your kids, I have a suggestion.  A bow tie.

Kids have to wear shirts and ties on game days.  So, a couple years ago, I bought my grandchildren clip-on bow ties in their team colors (colours), for stocking stuffers.  Big hit.  A few days after, one of the parents showed me a picture of one of my grandsons wearing his new bow tie before a game.  Then I saw more and more of the kids sporting bow ties on game days.

It really caught on.  Regular ties usually look crooked and askew on a 16 year-old kid, but a bow tie is kinda dapper.

Kids want to look like their friends, but a little different.

Sorry.  I can't stand bow ties unless someone is getting married.  And then groom only.

Never trust a guy in a bow tie.  They are  suddenly popular again with that age bracket, but I cannot figure out why.  They look goofy (IMO).

This thread made me smile, though, because my wife and I were just talking about this tonight (no, she actually agreed with me on this, and I cannot tell you how rare that is).
