Well they usually get up and play well versus the Pens so the game should be a good one....i hope...it more than likely will be the last game this team as we know it plays as a whole...dead line is fast approaching...

Wow, looking at these lineup, the penguins look like they were hit with the injury bug and they still have a wayyyyyyy better lineup than the flyers.

This game could go two ways.  Pens come out flying, score 1 or 2 early, flyers lull them to sleep with their slow, boring, amazingly untalented style of play, flyers chip away and complete the comeback.  Or, pens score early and often and flyers get blown out.

If these lines are correct, I like the idea of Weal, G and Simmer. Hopefully Hakstol gives them more than two shifts before he changes all the lines.

Yeah why not I think everyone on the team has been tried on G's LW except Bellemare...not sure why he hasn't ever gotten a look he is one of the few natural LWs on the damn team.

I guess if Belly was a center they would try him at LW....

well the Flyers had some nice looks, couple good chances, SOG. But like you said as scripted 87 scores first.

Mike Milbury stating the obvious but it bears repeating:

"first and foremost the Flyers have to get their big guys playing hard again... Claude Giroux looks lost at times out there...Jake Voracek...these are first-class, top-of-the-line players that aren't producing at the rate they have to in order for the Flyers to be successful. Time is running out here."

Sir Canoli:

Giroux is seemingly invisible.  I also see our shot total as a bit misleading.  We need more lateral play...Scoring with frontal assaults against Murray ain't going to yield a lot.

wouldn't be a bit surprised. When the NBC crew makes a point to highlight the hit, talk about it some more while they show it ... then show it again, then again....safe bet the boys in the NHL supplementary discipline department will do their thing.
