He should be the Barrie Colts #1 pick overall in the next OHL draft, a nice consolation prize for finishing last overall this year. There will be a push from the USDP, his brother plays there now, so nothing for sure. Certainly, one to watch though. Supposed to be an elite skater who scores at will. flyercanuck Posted March 17, 2017 Share Posted March 17, 2017 If Barrie can get Hughes (he moved to Mississauga when he was 5 but was born in the States, hasn't decided USNTDP or OHL) and Svechnikov (he'll likely be the top import pick) to go with Nizhnikov, that's 3 pretty talented guys to build on.
