OccamsRazor Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I know no Flyer fans really care about this game. But i expect another loss this team is unraveling before our eyes....the finger pointing has begun... http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Bill-Meltzer/Flyers-Gameday-32317--MIN/45/83965 Projected lineups (Subject to change)FLYERS24 Matt Read - 28 Claude Giroux - 93 Jakub Voracek40 Jordan Weal - 51 Valterri Filppula - 17 Wayne Simmonds22 Dale Weise - 14 Sean Couturier - 10 Brayden Schenn76 Chris VandeVelde - 78 Pierre-Édouard Bellemare - 11 Travis Konecny9 Ivan Provorov - 47 Andrew MacDonald23 Brandon Manning - 53 Shayne Gostisbehere15 Michael Del Zotto - 3 Radko Gudas35 Steve Mason[30 Michal Neuvirth]Scratches: Nick Schultz (healthy) or Brandon Manning (questionable), Roman Lyubimov (healthy), Michael Raffl (IR, lower body), Nick Cousins (upper body).WILD16 Jason Zucker - 9 Mikko Koivu - 64 Mikael Granlund3 Charlie Coyle - 12 Eric Staal - 11 Zach Parise22 Nino Niederreiter - 19 Martin Hanzal - 29 Jason Pominville7 Chris Stewart - 56 Erik Haula - 10 Jordan Schroeder20 Ryan Suter - 46 Jared Spurgeon6 Marco Scandella - 24 Mathew Dumba23 Gustav Olofsson - 25 Jonas Brodin40 Devan Dubnyk[35 Darcy Kuemper]Scratches: Nate Prosser (healthy), Ryan White (flu), Christian Folin (arm). I copied and posted but from last reports Del Zotto is out and Manning is in. This to me is a head scratched why the pylon play of Schultz.....
OccamsRazor Posted March 23, 2017 Author Posted March 23, 2017 From everything i have seen is Schultz in and MDZ sits. Guess we'll see.
Samifan Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Well at least we don't have to watch Ryan White score a hat trick against the Flyers tonight.......
TropicalFruitGirl26 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Wild should be putting more pucks on Mason. Pretty obvious he isn't fully into this game yet....Minnesota shouldn't give him the chance to. He looks shaky out there

canoli Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 pure goal scorer Couturier is... next year he's going to rack up huge points. ohyeah.
Howie58 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Jeepers Creepers...don't think I've seen the O and B skate this well in ages. Maybe the Wild uniforms lead to some weird skating arousal.

Howie58 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Granted, the Wild have lost eight of their last ten, but the O and B had a solid effort. After a shaky start, Mason got his game together. Coots must be doubling up his Cialis....good effort for a change.
radoran Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Mason "shaky" while the team in front of him couldn't get the puck out of the defensive zone or establish anything in the offensive zone. The team looked "shaky" and Minnesota was playing like the Flyers should have been to start the Winnipeg game. A .960 SV% later the Flyers win the game.
murraycraven Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I think it is funny that our 3C is better than our 2C...

Mason flat out flubbed/muffed the puck and basically scored on himself. If he plays that well after his screw up all the time, he should start every game by firing the puck into his own net.
