King Knut Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 The Devils game followed by Jake's comments re: leaving it all on the ice against the jets have me now curious as to whether conditioning is a basic problem these guys have been hitting all year. Arenother teams just in better shape? The only remotely legit excuse I could come up with for the Devils game was that they just wiped themselves out against the penguins and couldn't recover in a day. Now jake says they put it all out there against the jets? Are they just cardiovascular jokes? Do they just jet lag incredibly easily? I have just just assumed it's a mental weakness that is exploited when they play wel for 15 minutes then collapse like a frightened turtle in the cold. But maybe it's also that they are just in terrible terrible shape? Lappy and McCrossin taking it easy in them?
vis Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 You know, the thought just crossed my mind as I was watching this Wild game. Feel like the Wild are quicker, stronger than the Flyers.
canoli Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Well the Flyers are 28th in the league in 1st period scoring with 39 goals. The last-place Canucks have just 3 fewer. So if conditioning is the problem then it's a BIG problem!
