Howie58 Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Greetings: There was something bittersweet and perhaps ironic seeing Mason get his 200th win against his old team, playing against Bobo, in what is probably his last or next-to-last game as a Flyer. Mase was very gracious in the post-game interview, thanking Philly for the opportunity to rebuild his career in a hockey town like the Original Six. He also acknowledged that the team recognized how inconsistent play hurt their playoff chances. Bottom line--if this is the end of the road for him in Philly, it ended on a high note. That said, I suspect when all is said and done, he will be viewed as "Just Another Guy" (see below) who didn't fill Parent's shows. http://isportsweb.com/2016/02/05/philadelphia-flyers-can-steve-mason-be-the-guy/
OccamsRazor Posted April 8, 2017 Author Posted April 8, 2017 Nice at least Van develde got to score the 1st Jackets goal... ...hell if you can't put it in theirs then put it in yours right!!! Nice deflection numbnuts!!! And on the last goal by the Jackets wow is their a better backwards skater in the NHL than Mcdud??? Skates backwards just conceding the whole damn zone and when Jenner shoots all he does is flinch doing absolutely nothing not blocking the shot....NOTHING! Damn what a waste of a uniform! I pray to little baby jesus that is the last time i ever see him in a Flyer uniform...
OccamsRazor Posted April 8, 2017 Author Posted April 8, 2017 Hell of a snipe by Ivan... ..and they keep winning when it don't matter. Gotta love it!
Poulin20 Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Too little wayyyy to late. Bob looked very ordinary for the Blue Jackets today. Nice to see Ivan get Ashbee award (and a goal) and Simmer to get Bobby Clarke Award.

Sure Mase might of lost his job but who cares. Playoffs 1st!
flyercanuck Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 I love the fact that we suck when it counts, and when we're basically out of the race, we get hot. Just in time to ruin our draft position. We're officially the new Toronto Maple Leafs of old.

There's very little chance that the lottery will eesult in the Flyers picking later.
