Greetings:

Well, the season is coming to what some would say is a merciful end.  Historically, we have done well against the Canes, particularly at home:

Here is the NHL.com preview.  Mr. Haag will displace Mr. Manning.  There will be cheers from the board--VDV not playing!  Bryan Bickell will be playing his last game after the MS diagnosis: It's hard for me to think about the courage that takes.  It looks like Steve Mason will be starting, if I believe NHL.com:

This is turning into an interesting matchup, with the Canes' speed and skill running up against our "structured" play.

We've been promised a VandeVelde scratch before only to have our hearts ripped out. I won't believe it until opening face off.

Hoping the Flyers do something to acknowledge Bickell at some point tonight.

I hope the Canes start Bickell. Last game of his career.

Bickell started the game.  The Canes announcers said the Flyers Fans gave Bickell a very good ovation before the game and then they honored him during the first TV timeout.  Very classy move by the Fans and the Flyers organization!

Well, I would have rather we won but it was entertaining.  Stolarz looked OK.  Hagg certainly knows what to do with the puck.  Maybe Weise's slumber in the O and B is over.  Ghost was ghost.  There is room for optimism in '17-'18.  JJ or Clement noted that seven teams that made the playoffs last year were out of it this year. So--we keep fingers crossed.  The youngins may save the day.

Really wish the coach would change up the shooters for the shootout. Tired of seeing G and Jake every shootout.

Didn't get to see it due to work.

I'll check the Lowlights when i go on break...

...wonder if things could of been different if Stolie, Morin and Hagg could of played more this season...

...we'll never know i guess.

I guess we can look forward to the draft now...
