Stars to hire Hitchcock as next Head Coach

Recommended Posts

Looks like the Stars are going back to the future.

@Hockey JunkieKinda ironic that Fat Ass Hitchcock as you called him was picked to replace Ruff a day after you said Ruff was a better coach.:poke:

I am not a bit surprised.  Doe this mean they are going to magically fix things over night?  Hell no

Ha, only if the fans can throw ping pong balls on the ice after a goal.

truly did not see this coming, not sure of Nill's logic on this one. I see him as a massive upgrade over Ruff Short term fix to a long term problem.

It means I'm glad I no longer have either Benn or Seguin in fantasy. I think their production is about to go down.

Said Hitchcock on TV after his hire:

"I am happy to be here......it's all about winning and the best chance for me to help a team win is RIGHT here in Dallas, TX"

Translation:

"Step aside Ruff and lemme show you how a coach runs a team....I mean, YOU couldn't even get my team's phantom goal overturned back in '99!!" :ike:

Ed Belfour at 51 is probably better now than those stiffs Niemi and Lehtonen.
