I saw him play a few times in the regular season, I thought he was solid. You gotta admit, he put up some good stats on a sad sack team. In his defence he didn't have a lot to play with. Not only were they bad, they were the youngest team in the league. Maybe he just thought he was his best chance of scoring? I hate puck hogs. They have the oldest team in the league and will lose half of their top 6 forwards due to overage graduation.
