hf101 Posted June 24, 2017 Share Posted June 24, 2017 The Jets did their homework here and chose this sleeper pick early in the 2nd round (ranked #67 in NA skaters). The 6'3" 190lb, Samberg played HS hockey last year in the single A division for smaller schools as Hermantown has a population of less than 10,000. Samberg wasn't chosen by USA hockey and was pretty much a no name until he scored the winning goal in double OT to give Hermantown back to back State Championships.
