Martel scores the tying goal to force overtime...4 goals in two games....yet he doesn't get a chance in the shootout. Corban Knight, Lindblom and Phil Varone the only shooters....and they shot blanks. Yet the only goal Lyon allowed in the shootout was to Tambellini (which was a 5 on 3 PP goal)... ...who was the only goal scorer in regulation...how ironic. OccamsRazor Posted October 9, 2017 Share Posted October 9, 2017 Phantoms get a backup for Lyon in a deal with the Ducks for Dustin Tokarski for future considerations. In a separate deal Phantoms send Leland Irving to the Ducks for future considerations. Lyon (3-1-1) with the win with 34 saves on 37 shots, plus no goals allowed in the 3 attempts in the shootout.
