Keep in mind, they are looking for a roster defenseman not named MacDonald. RNH is a #1 overall pick who's topped out in the mid-50s for points, so his value is low I would say. I really need to reads posts through to the end before responding. Seriously though, I'm not a big RNH fan. Who is anymore? Where would he even fit? 2C and bump Patrick to the 3rd? 3C and leave him with a bunch of anchors? It's a hard sell. I definitely wouldn't be giving up too much. Manning maybe? Or Gudas? Provo and Hagg are off limits, Ghost is probably off limits too. Sanheim is too green, Manning is Manning. MacDonald gets the GM to hang up the phone. So, yeah. Gudas. I like moving Filppula too. Sure but they love forcing young guys in the lineup ( and Myers injury history is why i would trade him) yet he would hurt himself on the plane ride out and wouldn't pass a physical therefore negating the trade. Jake can and should be traded for top dollar to a team with better options for a return than what EDM will offer. What prospects do they even have worth mentioning? Puljujarvi? They won't trade him. The Oil get a replacement center who probably should be a 3C anyway, and they get one of the leagues better bombers on the back end, which is probably what they want anyway.
