After the quick one game trip to Anaheim, the Sharks are back in San Jose where they face off tonight against the Central Division-leading Winnipeg Jets for another edition of the NHL's answer to West Side Story.

It was a successful trip to Anaheim for the Sharks, as they emerged with two points after beating the Ducks 6-2. Mikkel Boedker scored twice - including his 100th career goal - as well as Marc-Edouard Vlasic, Kevin Labanc, Joe Thornton, and Melker Karlsson. Despite the lopsided score, the best player of the night for the Sharks - at least early on - was Aaron Dell, who kept the Sharks in the game as they weathered an early push by the Ducks.

The game against the Ducks wrapped up an altogether successful weekend that saw the Sharks earn all four points against a Pacific Division rival and the defending Stanley Cup Champs. The Sharks are 5-1-0 since returning from the bye week, suggesting that the five day break was a much-needed respite for the team.

The last time these two team met was the final game before the bye week, that saw the Jets beat the Sharks 4-1. The goal tonight will be for the Sharks to continue their strong play and hopefully return the favor.
