Adding a couple of young hungry defenseman who are playing for a contract and a veteran scorer will be coming (my bet is Vanek) and presto, all will be right with their world. I think the past two years that Trotz has pushed them a bit harder than need be during the regular season and this year, taking his foot off the throttle in February and March may be his plan based off ice time for some of the thirtysomethings so far.
