WordsOfWisdom Posted February 25, 2018 Share Posted February 25, 2018 It was only a few seasons ago that we witnessed every "original six" team in the playoffs except Toronto. (I think Tampa battled an original six team in every round of their playoffs that year.) This season, there are only two original six teams heading for the playoffs: Toronto and Boston. That's quite a turnaround! Epic drop-offs by Chicago, New York, and Montreal this season have really changed the playoff landscape in the NHL.
