hobie Posted March 1, 2018 Share Posted March 1, 2018 It has bothered me that Babs isn't willing to try Matthews, Marner and Nylander on the PK but due to some of the events that have transpired this season I actually appreciate his decision on this. I don't know if St.L.'s Schwartz or Bergeron were injured PKing but both were injured blocking shots, I figure if players are expected to block shots, essentially be goalies, then they need to dress appropriately. PKers are expected to block shots and risk their health on a nightly basis but I'd prefer that TO's top 3 especially be as healthy and productive as possible and not deliberately risking their health to PK.
