My patience over the years with the Wild - while only missing a game or two each year while in Texas for over a decade - has grown razor thin... Figured I'd hang around and see what happens - although I pretty much have zero expectations that they're all of sudden going snap out of constantly juggling lines or seeing how many times they can pass the puck around the perimeter on powerplays... I think watching several of these playoff games - made me quickly realize that there is no way we could compete at that level - nor do I think with Parise/Suter that we'll ever be able to put some other critical pieces in place... It's hard to let go of "your" team - but I think that's what's happening when I watch the Knights and Huala/Tuch... I don't think the Wild have a "beast mode" for the playoffs... If there were no expansion team - I probably would have just rode the pine with the Wild - but now that I have a new option - with a couple of guys who couldn't work that way in our system - it gives me serious pause on what games I should be following - and if there isn't a much more exciting option...
