LV Phantoms and other Flyers Prospect discussions 2018-2019

Recommended Posts

I don't think this is a big deal. Hart and Sandstrom with be taking up the crease in LV.

Kid might as well stay over another year or two and work on his game. No rush. He turned 19 in October.

Funny thing about Ersson is he has actually put up better numbers than Sandstrom did in the same leagues.

Ersson numbers:

2016-17 Super Elite 2.95 906%

2017-18 Super Elite 2.53 920%

2018-19 Allsvenskan 1.81 941%

Sandstrom numbers:

2014-15 Super Elite 2.63 907%

2015-16 Super Elite 2.65 910%

2017-18 Allsvenskan 3.10 895%

Not that big a deal just pointing it out Ersson might be a diamond in the rough.

I am ok with trading draft pick to help this team out quicker...i would like to keep this year's lottery protected.

However with the prospects coffers damn near overflowing i don't want to trade off any key prospects.

I don't want to move Farabee or Frost.

I would be ok with maybe moving NAK, Kase, Vorobyev, Rubtsov, Bunnaman, Lindblom and Myers if they want kids.

Of course always depends on the return.

The only one with real value in there is Myers - possibly Lindblom too.

Again, it all really depends on all the pieces invovled.

It is why i but ok just riding this year out and showing the whole coaching staff the door and going from there...

..i want to move guys like Lehtera, Weal and Folin and seeing where the cards may fall....the chances of them doing more harm than good makes me prefer to do nothing.

I think we might have to pay the other teams to take those stiffs off our hands

No need to do that they have plenty of cap space let them ride out their contracts and bide farewell...but if you can flip them for something...anything almost then take it...

@RonJeremy's right though. No one's going to want those guys. When you're bad on one of the worse teams in the league, people don't generally come knocking for your services.

No big deal they will be gone at the end of the year regardless.

This kid is going to maybe make someone in the defensive stable expendable...

..the only question is when...kid was very poised this past preseason...we'll see soon...

Could this be the Flyers 3rd line center for next year???

Coots

Patrick

Frost

Vorobyev

?????

Pretty lethal down the middle.

All we need now are goal scorers. Maybe Alison can make the team next year.

G/Coots/TK

JVR/Patrick/Voracek

Lindblom/Frost/Allison

Raffl/Vorobyev or Rubtsov/Laughton

I would love to see Goulbourne get the 13th  forward spot when it all is said and none.

He is a solid defensive forward if need be can drop the gloves and whip some ass.

This team really need some of that.

My only adjustment to that right now.

Terry Murray back with the org. as a Phantoms Assistant Coach.

Great move. I get he's a bit long in the tooth, but he's going to be a great sounding board for Huffman and he'll be able to help put together a development plan for a lot of the players there. I also expect that there's going to be a handful of players that Murray will take under his wing and really help push them to the next level, specifically Rubtsov and Laberge after their season ending surgeries......

Nice to see the Phantoms on a nice win streak.

They are 4-0-1 since Kerry Huffman has taken over as head coach. Nice.

I would love to see NAK get a shot again on the Flyers....

...Lindblom, Varone and NAK could be a nice combo!!!

Give Friedman a shot too.....

Sure i know it won't happen....i would waive Mcdud and Weise....bring up Friedman and NAK...

My Flyers lineup:

25 James van Riemsdyk - 28 Claude Giroux - 11 Travis Konecny
17 Wayne Simmonds - 14 Sean Couturier - 93 Jakub Voracek
22 Oskar Lindblom - 40 Jordan Weal - 12 Michael Raffl
21 Scott Laughton - 44 Phil Varone - 27 Nicolas Aube Kubel

9 Ivan Provorov - 6 Travis Sanheim
53 Shayne Gostisbehere - 5 Mark Friedman
8 Robert Hägg - 3 Radko Gudas

79 Carter Hart
[30 Michal Neuvirth]

Phantoms taking on the Baby Pens tonight.

So will the Phantoms see Pascal Laberge this season??

I know he had surgery on his hip before the preseason started but i hadn't seen anywhere say he wouldn't be back this year.

I know Rubtsov is done.
