Buffalo Rick
4 days until the draft and it sure looks like the Sabres will go with Dahlin. Now they have posted that a 3 year entry level contract has been given to the goalie from Finland, the one we drafted and was the top Euro goalie prospect. Does this mean he is likely to play in Rochester to start the season? Or is it still too early? I would think its crazy not to at least have him in Rochester even if he is not the starter? But who the hell is better than him? Ullmark might not be as good as him. And Ullmark is slated to be the back up in Buffalo. I say that is better than having Johnson as the backup. Does anyone know if an entry level contract means its a sure thing he will be in a pro uniform this year? Is there any chance he could actually start in Buffalo? And would he play for the Sabres in pre season games? I noticed I did not mention his name. Its Luukkonen. Hope I spelled it right.
