oilfieldhockey Posted October 1, 2018 Share Posted October 1, 2018 I heard there was definitely going to be a Kings jersey for the 18/19 season but so far it has been kept quiet. Math Posted October 14, 2021 Share Posted October 14, 2021 Like many other teams are tending to go: Back to the basics and stick to it. That's part of building tradition and identity. I like those, except they tried too much to mimmick the Knights' layout design, especially on the sleeves. Strangely, I don't mind the silver helmets. Their original crowned purple/yellow jersey was cool too. At least they were unique and the only team using that color scheme. They definitely need to get rid of their current logo which is the last piece of terrible experimentations the Kings made starting from the late 1990s to the 2010s. Next teams to need a back-to-basics direction, following Ottawa, Calgary and Arizona: Anaheim (eggplant purple/toothpaste green is maybe way too 1993 style but at least go back with the original jersey layout and logo) Florida (color scheme is ok but the Windows95 WordArt logo is awful) Washington (never understood why they left the great starred jersey and pants) St-Louis (back with powder blue, basically use their 3rd alternate as the main) 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
