Hey all, MNSOTA here.....I had to use LIG's computer today to write up the preview. Since I was already on here, I'm just using his log in here to post this. I know I've been a bit MIA, but this team requires me to take extended vacations from them in order to maintain some semblance of sanity. Enjoy.

Looking forward to seeing what Minnesota will have on the ice and how they play now that the games are "for real".

Already have seen some crazy things from teams that played yesterday (Caps blowing out the Bruins, Canucks looking like World Beaters against the Flames, and the Ducks outmatching San Jose at every turn), so I wouldn't put a WHOLE lot of stock into what happens tonight, win or lose, for Minnesota, but I think it IS fair to say, the Wild just have to come out and compete like they feel they belong in the playoffs, like a team that SHOULD be superior to Colorado (Avs, IMO, are still a one line team...a fantastic line granted, but 1-line nonetheless), and play like a team that isn't going to be satisfied with just barely getting into the top 3 or 4 in the division.

Tall order, sure, but that is the task Minnesota has in front of them.
They are in the toughest division in hockey (to hell with the pundits who say the Metro...top to bottom, the Central is MUCH better), they have some possible legit Stanley Cup contenders residing in there, and the Wild have no time for foolishness.

Play tough, play hard, or don't bother!

Go Wild!

Excellent!~  A Game Day Thread!  I knew KC or Minn. wouldn't let me down!

Easy to beat Colorado.  Obviously contain McKnnn.  And then you win.  Rantennan, whatever...   and Landeskog the punk is getting old...

I'm watching closely Coyle, Nino, Parise, and Greenway.  I wish I was at the rink so I could follow them throughout the play instead of just when they're in the picture on TV.

You're welcome. It's nice to be back.

Well we had to sacrifice our old couch.....new one was delivered today. So perhaps that bodes well for tonight.

😄  That's a funny coincidence!  I'm going to pull the trigger on the "Evil COUCH" and buy a new one before Thanksgiving!   .

Edited - I don't think the Wild has any evil coaches.

We were hoping to have it LAST week, but that didn't happen. We went to our local, non-chain furniture store about a month ago and ordered it. It's made in some factory here in Wisconsin. I figure the wait was worth is to buy "locally." Even better, it matches perfectly the recliner I bought last fall and they're not made by the same company.
