Us against some high-end forwards,  .

My thought, too.  Lots of skill amongst Dallas' top forwards.

Here's where Lemaire's 1-2-2 NZT would be a great strategy.

Well I feel they're playing with a bit more pep in their step early in the game.

Agree.
nothing to show for on the PP scoreboard wise, but I like the fact they tried taking it to the net and not settle for perimeter shots.
I hope they remember that strategy on their ensuing man advantages.... hell, even for 5 on 5.

They forced Big Ben to make some timely saves.
Bishop is susceptible low....continued driving to the net taking shots, look for the rebounds he is sure to cough up.

As I mentioned in the chatbox  -- lots of empty seats for this one in Dallas.

Funny you should say that....they were interviewing a Dallas player right before puck drop (cant remember which player it was off hand), but he said something like, "Glad to be playing back home, these fans here are great!" :shifty:

Wow...Dallas getting some awesome bounces going their way.

Lucky for the Wild, Dubnyk is on his game. Very sharp.
Wish the Wild could limit some of those chances though...… giving a team like Dallas too many of those types of looks to play with is asking for trouble.

Matt Freakin Read...

I've read that statement before........  :flyer:

It's hard to believe that he was practicing on the top line.

I am guessing the thinking is, "Get this guy some time with goal scorers"
He is the new project guy.
Last season it was Ennis...this year, it's Read.

And if Read isn't contributing offensively, he is a waste of a roster spot as he isn't likely to contribute in others.
He isn't particularly physical, isn't particularly defensive minded.... its either points or nothing.... like Ennis.
