The Blues and Blackhawks in a downward trend in the Central, with Winnipeg waning... Not at all like U.S.A. Today predicted. There's still a long season ahead but so far the U.S.A. Today predictions with Nashville near the top of the heap and Chicago near the bottom are about the only thing their rankings have in order. At least in the Central. Interesting.

Who's eager to see Yeo-bobble continue to sip 'what's in the water' from his infamous water bottle?

Double the sludge, double the fun. I'm thinking these bums are going to play a factor in today's game.

Wild already have secured a winning road trip at 4-2-0 with this last stop at St. Louis coming up.
Just looking for the team to continue their winning ways...especially against a club like the Blues who are still a mess, still trying to claw their way up from the bottom and who have question marks in goal, on the defense overall, and perhaps, maybe even behind the bench!

That said, the Blues can still score (they rank 3rd in the entire league in GF/game) with Ryan O'Reilly in particular being red hot and it looks like the return of Robbi Fabbri has sparked the rest of the team as well....Tarasenko, Steen, and maybe Schwartz and Schenn being other players the Wild will have to account for.

Simply put... if the Wild can play a full 60 minutes (yes, we always seem to say that, don't we?) and maintain their structure while Dubnyk continues to play like he has in goal, I see no reason the team can't make it a 5-2-0 complete road trip.

The defensive structure should be able to match whatever the Blues do up front, while Minnesota's offense, cooking a bit more of late, should be able to exploit the Blues' defense and goaltending...……….. and NO ONE can tell me that the Wild don't get under the skin of former coach Mike Yeo...even just a little bit... :bigteeth:

Go Wild GOOOOO!!
:wild:

Not sure if I'll be around today have another Funeral visitation to go to that goes from 2-5. I am not sure what time we're going to arrive at or how long we will be staying.

I guess it depends on how fond you were of that person who passed away... have a good one!

Bad visual image of the day: Francois St. Laurent and Tim Peel working a Wild playoff game.

Good visual of the day: The Wild kicking the Blues while they're down and collecting two easy, boring points.

And on a non-hockey related note, THANK YOU to all men and women who serve the country -- past, present and future.

@Hockey-78 thanks it was my grandma's Sister and unfortunately, her daughter passed away 2 weeks ago so we went to that funeral/visitation as well. Her husband passed away Last year and their grandson passed away like 12 years ago so they've been through a lot.

I will say you are very welcome on behalf of my husband who is a very proud former Army Ranger.
My brother is currently in the regular Army as a M1 Abrams sergeant.

Ever since the Romulans threatened to take over the arena.... they figured, with Captains Kirk, Archer or Jean Luc Picard around, they wouldn't dare!

That has to be tough. I lost my grandma in last March and I'm still not over it. From that perspective one hockey game means nothing... take the time you need, we'll win this one.
