Howie58 Posted January 8, 2019 Author Share Posted January 8, 2019 Starting McKenna is a frightening sign of how depleted this squad is. Normally, I would expect a team to rally around a journeyman backup (actually, kind of amazing story), but my fear is that they will let him hang out. Other than Giroux, I see no untouchables. This squad is worse than 2006-07. That was glorified AHL caliber. On paper, this team should be among the top of its division. I think we will be looking back at this and saying the long winning and losing streaks of the past few years were telltale signs of a cruddy squad.
