Looks like a good deal for the Canes - especially if Teravainen keeps progressing. He's found a good niche with Aho and $5.4M is pretty much in line with what he's producing. Could be value over time. Canes have one skater over 30 on the roster (JStaal is 30) and a boatload of young talent (only six skaters over 25). What they really need is a goalie (thank you, Darling). If they are smart they would do what they can to try and pry Bob from Columbus. And with that i mean not give up much that is already on the team. Or they are 4 points outside a playoff spot now...so why wait go get him and he can help now. They have been rumored to have Hamilton on the block so they could offer him and say (just for example Martin Necas) for him. That is alot and not sure if they would be willing to part with Necas. Or if they prefer to keep Hamilton for the playoff run maybe Necas and Jake Bean could get it done. Or if they prefer a goalie back Necas and Alex Nedeljkovic maybe.
