I have to ask: Why bring up Myers if he's just gonna ride the pine? Is he showing he's not quite ready in practice with the big club, so they're keeping him out? It's certainly not as if our dcorps is playing some stellar hockey this season...

Wow...
Mikael Granlund just ABUSED Ghost.

First, hounds him and strips him BARE of the puck, then as he skates away, Ghost has no choice but to hook him down...PP Wild.
Errrrr, now Minnesota has to take advantage of the man advantage...otherwise, there is no advantage.....

1-0 Philly...Minny looking to square matters up.

One of the Baby Wild, Luke Kunin comes through for Minnesota.

Fortunate bounce, yes, but he took advantage of it.
2-1 Wild.

That was a gift from Gostisbehere. BAD play.

Minnesota broadcasters giving the Flyers their due.

Saying the Wild better not relax, the Flyers have been playing inspired hockey, and that they could just as easily turn this thing around on Minnesota.

I agree.
Wild aren't good enough to go cruise control on ANYONE...they best stay on course.

Minnesota getting sloppy in their own zone just now.

Flyers got some good looks at Dubnyk.

Something Wild fans don't wanna see...Flyers fans do.

And as I finish this...Baby Wild Luke Kunin with another goal!   3-1 Wild.
Good GAWD this team better not fall asleep just because they have a two goal lead...

I know.
But Kunin's mom always taught him to be grateful of gifts and accept them gracefully!   :)

Well, it must be his birthday because now Kunin has two.

Luke Kunin was one of the guys brought up due to Mikko Koivu being injured.
Nice to see a young player take advantage of an opportunity.

From a Wild standpoint, I hope he does well.
I've always liked Mikko Koivu, but I think the game HAS passed him by.

Time for some new blood for Minnesota.

Flyers lback to looking like the Keystone Cops out there :BrownBag:

Funny thing is, either one of these teams could have easily underestimated the other...perhaps the Flyers were so wound up after playing Pittsburgh they overlooked Minnesota?

Hard to tell.
Still though, only the first period.
Wild have been known to nod off late in the game.

I don't think they overlooked Minny, so much as they have TOTALLY lacked discipline tonight.
