Puck_Pun
So Wagner swats the puck out of the air, resulting in a goal. As expected the question is whether it was played with a high stick, and the refs said that it was a non-reviewable play and so the call on the ice stands. So hey, what are the rules for this sort of thing? What plays are reviewable, if this one isn't?
hf101
To the best of my knowledge, it isn't the shot for the goal that is played by the high stick thus the rules state it is a good goal as only that last shot is reviewable not the play prior. The refs somehow missed calling the play dead by the high stick prior to the shot for the goal as it looked like the puck was played above Wagner's shoulder. AJgoal
What @hf101 said. Since it wasn't directed in off the high stick, it's not reviewable.
BlueAero
Same reason the hand pass in game #3 was not reviewable. The NHL review rules are stupid.
