SpikeDDS
Tyler Bertuzzi’s pass to Anthony Mantha who scored an empty-better (top corner from his own blue line, no less) at the end of last night’s game gave him three points for the game. Two goals and one assist. That’s three points. Again. For the fourth game in a row. And then to find out that in the entire history of the Red Wings franchise and with all of the talented players we have had in the past and with eras where goals came so much easier that Tyler Bertuzzi is the first Red Wing player ever to have three points in four consecutive games stuns me! And he did it against mostly playoff contenders and when many players on teams like this have already mentally checked out, because they are out of the playoffs. What an accomplishment by him! Hard to believe that no other Red Wing has ever done it!
