I had to go with Sharks in 7.

 

I give the Sharks the edge in depth.

 

I give the Avs the edge in goal.

 

Grubauer is playing some damn good hockey. 1.89 gaa and 939% is only 3rd to Lehner and Bishop.

 

Makes Sakic look smart for signing him away from the Caps.

 

This one should be brutal and physical.

I went Sharks in six, the Knights/Sharks in two short years has turned into one of the games best rivalries and I expect the Sharks to be a bit drained and for the Avalanche to hang around a bit but in the end the Sharks are simply too deep.

Avalanche well be a challenge but I see the Sharks gritting through this one, Sharks in seven

You get to the playoffs with the talent, you can make a run for the Cup with a strong defence, but it's the bottom-6 that makes you win a SC (I think this comes from Mike Bossy, I don't recall..)

 

Shut down the Avs 1st line and they are toast. Sharks in 6.

Sharks in 6. Colorado is fun to watch with a ton of speed and that potent 1st line, but I think The Sharks top 4 defensemen wear them down just enough to take the series.  If they let the Avs skate, it will be a vastly different story in the outcome of this series.

Gee.  Should I go to the window and throw down on the Avalanche based on this crazy statement?  Likely not.  But this is a damn horse race.  The Blues will destroy the winner

The finals will be  Boston vs California, just like the mlb and nfl finals

Sharks - Blues, well, I've been looking forward to this potential pairing. This should be a very entertaining match up, which of course I'll be wanting Sharks to win.

Nathan MacKinnon is an extraordinary hockey player.

 

That kid gutted out that game, not only that when he got back on the ice he made **** happen.

I am a big Seth Jones fan, but I can't fault the Avs for taking 29... he's a legit stud.
