So I guess Holmgren gets the last laugh after all. Chief really is one if the brightest minds in hockey. Congrats!!!

I love the job he did.  And game two in San Jose was one of the best jobs of coaching and making adjustments I have ever seen.  Lindy Ruff did some magic in 99 with a less than stellar talented team.  Berube solved Coture and did it faster than lightning.  Thanks in part to having one Parayko who IMO, could have also won the Conn Smythe.  For his work that goes unnoticed by the untrained eye

Dude loves hockey, did whatever he could to be around it.

He was tougher than a $3 steak when he played. He watched a lot of hockey from up close. 

This should really come as a surprise to no one. 

 

I am happy for him.

Yeah. Liked him as a player. 

 

Didn't like him as a coach in Philly. Could have been a wrong fit, wrong timing, wrong team thing. 

 

He really did have a crap team to work with here.
