Recommended Posts

Forty-one players will be in Voorhees, including recent first-round picks Joel Farabee, Morgan Frost, Cam York, German Rubtsov and Jay O'Brien, starting with on-ice sessions Tuesday. In all the Flyers have 11 camp invites that aren't their own draft picks, including Noah Cates' brother Jackson and Danny Briere's son Carson.

Well this far after surgery this doesn't sound good or encouraging especially after I have been through this same injury and recovery...

There are times when Wade Allison goes to push the gas pedal in his car and still — even 17 months after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee — doesn’t know how his body will react.

Sometimes it’s fine. Sometimes it’s a dull pain and sometimes “all of a sudden my knee just starts going everywhere,” he said. “Each day’s different.”

“I was told six months and now we’re at 17,” Allison said Tuesday after the first day of on-ice activity at Flyers development camp. “A little bit different, but nothing I can do about it now.”

After surgery and his knee is still all loose and wonky? I believe that is what is known as unsuccessful surgery in the biz.

If it wasn't for a knee injury i think Allison could have had a solid shot at filling that 3rd line RW spot this year.

Certainly nothing wrong with his hands...i hope he has a good last year of college and they get him sign next summer.

And ol Danny B's offspring...
