Flyers have had their share of tough guys.

Who's the one guy you would have to loved to see play for the Flyers based on his fighting skills?

Im gonna go with John Scott.  After all, he was an all-star MVP

I'd pick someone from a time when I wish the Flyers had a legit enforcer.  So while Probert would have been fun to watch as a Flyers, we had Dave Brown (and others) who was a legend in his own right.  So, I'd probably say Brian McGrattan or Derek Boogard.  May also have wanted someone like Stu Grimson and/or Rob Ray when Lindros was here.  I know they had the Dan line at one point, but I would have loved a killer like Grimson.  Always loved Rob Ray as well for a smaller guy.

My favorite Rob Ray beating of all time....

I think this is Rick trying to get a Ryan Miller autograph....

My own personal favourite Rob Ray beating, though he came out on the short end of the stick in this one:

The comment is good: "Was there. Ray was hurt and the arena was silent lol. "

I never had much use for Rob Ray, personally, though he was undeniably tough. He wore a jersey about 8 sizes too large and found a way to get it off in most of his fights. Kind of cheap.

On Rob Ray, I have a favorite moment.....

Brashear started pounding on him to start that epic brawl against Ottawa

Was that him or Chris Neil?  Was at that game.  Tremendous.

Sarcasm from the beginning to the end. But I'll bite.

IMO Scott was an overrated thug. He never faced anyone special, wrong decade.

McSorley was a nutcase, the Flyers in the 80's could've been a good home for him.

One of the tough guys I liked was Ted Harris.  He was a really good defenseman, who didn't fight a whole lot, but when he did, he was a force.  One of the best one punch gladiators ever.

His long-time partner was Terry Harper.  Terry fought often and lost almost all of his fights.  But, he was respected because he never backed down.

Definitely Bob Probert, he would have been awesome in Orange and Black!
