Is it possible to get games from the past? Possible from the 70s and 80s. I'm interested in seeing 3 games.

I guess you could search youtube. Realistically, a lot of old games are lost to the ether, unless released by TV stations, teams, etc.

Games I was looking for was game 5 of the Western Division Finals of 1970 between the Pens and St. Louis Blues.

On November 22 1974 the Pens scored 5 goals in 2 minutes and 7 seconds against St. Louis.

I also like to see the game that ended the Pens 39 games winless streek in Philadelphia.

@notfondajane

  The problem with vingage games, especially meaningless games is most TV stations back in the day didn't keep the recordings around, they destroyed them which is sad.

  That said, here is an option, write to the Penguins ask them if they have any vintage games on tape and see if you can buy them.

That's fine n all that you directed @notfondajane to call the Penguins directly, and I am sure they would be more than happy to make a deal with him, but you should at LEAST have also warned him that Jim Rutherford may try pawning off (or throwing in) Jack Johnson's contract as a 'sweetner' on his purchase...…….. :ph34r:
