Regional Sports Networks (FS North, et al) vs Dish Network

Just a head's up for all you Dish Network subscribers.....looks like we will be without Fox Sports North for some unknown amount of time. Thank goodness tonight's pre-season game is on NHL Network.

I suppose we add links for streams in here for future reference.

I’ve got DirecTV, and it’s showing up on the guide, but right now they’re just showing the logo and playing some sort of soft core porn music...

Well DirectTV is not effected. It would be for those of us with Dish Network. I know we could switch providers, but as soon as they settle, then they will have a contract to hash out with another cable/satellite providers. Not worth it.

I hear you. I kind of hope some of these streaming services put the cable providers out of business, or at least get them to be more reasonable.

Oh, since I've been a bit MIA since the end of the season....

I have a new role at work. I now do Accessibility support. Love it.

I wish our department would just hire someone to do that. They want everything accessible (which I get) but if you don’t deal with the software on a regular basis, it can be time consuming to convert documents...

Yeah, it's much harder than normal support, but I find I don't get as deep into the issues with the actual operating systems. I do a lot more "how do I do this with voiceover" or I take feature requests.

Exactly. There are a lot of accessibility features built into iOS and macOS. That's what I do all day now. I will say this, Voiceover on iOS is a million times easier than macOS.
