Game 7: Knights at Flyers; 10/21/19 @ 7

Greetings:

We are underdogs against a hot Vegas club that balances good scoring and sound defense:

The "outshoot but underscore" phenomenon is disturbing and I have to wonder if our first line is truly a first line by NHL standards.

Farabee and Vorobyev join the parent club.  Maybe an infusion of youth/skill makes a difference. Either way, the O and B Brain Trust must realize the current roster needs rejuvenation:

Now just go score some damn goals. Oh and please stop the puck too. I would prefer Pitlick in the lineup over Stewart.

This might be one of the last chances for Ghost to produce offense of some sort. We all know there are far better defensive options. Ghost simply has to produce pts to keep his spot...and time is running out. At least Morin would provide something of value.

Starting Elliott signals Hart and holds him accountable....I can't argue with that.  Stewart...don't get.  I am wondering if management sees a Patrick return in the next few weeks?  His return would bring more shuffling. I will be at work tonight; look forward to the board's take post-game.

I thought having Stewart on board would spare the youngins of healthy scratches/limited playtime and allow for farm development.  That may still happen.  Under a worst case. the guy is waived and claimed.  Meanwhile, I suspect coming weeks will bring further line juggling.

He's going to play about what? 10 minutes? I'm not worried about it. This team has deeper problems.

Sure 10 minutes making the 4th line ineffective....but hey maybe we get to see a fight....

Why do they let Voracek carry the puck up ice? He doesn't know when to dump the puck and causes offsides,  holds on way too long and constantly turns it over. It didn't take him long tonight to turn it over. Im beginning to hate him.

AV has already put the money thief in the doghouse.
