12 minutes between Wild shots....Sure increases chances for a win

I just assumed our Chance to win was 0% to begin with so doing anything would increase it.

Suter's 30 mph change-up wrist shot was 'the Wild's best chance so far in the game.'  SMH

I think our PP just won the "which PP is worse" competition.

Pretty much a given any night

Well until they give us reason to believe otherwise every game should be at 0%.

I just feel really uninspired by what I see game in/out.  Long-term prospects are less than grim.

We've been lucky so far. It could be 1-0  or 2-0 already. And this Ducks team is awful. Slow and unimaginative. Like looking at a mirror...

Can we pool our $ together to lose the Kwik Trip commercials?  Particularly the ones with my favorite coasting matador...

I'm surprised by the hits stats. I can remember Greenway hitting once, but otherwise it seemed that play was so slow nobody could hit anything on either side.

My thoughts exactly. This team is just plain ass boring. Their play isn’t doing me any good of trying to keep me awake.

That period looked like an Old Timers game.  From 20 years ago

Except we are 4 inches shorter and our balls haven't dropped

It's incredible, that with our size we can be as slow as the Ducks with their Getzlaf size players. Our scouts have really found the slowest players around.

Just as I was thinking it's not good for us if the game is played faster...

And of course, they get a goal from one of the guy's the Ducks really need to be scoring.

There is some great work from ZP, our co-highest paid player in covering an open player for goal.  And, a second pathetic goal before I finished typing.....Going to bed yet?

I'm having mixed emotions about this team. I'm glad they won. It's good to see them win. But on the flip side, it just reinforces the owners delusion that this is a Cup contending team.    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When Mayhew first came to the Iowa Wild as a college free agent he wasn't getting Top 6 minutes.  The emerged over time as near the end of that first season he went on a bit of hot streak showing some of that scoring potential.  Then performed well in a go-to role last year.     Should he be on the team?  Sure, but @IllaZilla hit the nail on the head why he isn't.  It isn't anything he did wrong and his presence won't matter much because of the limited role he'd get with the big club.
