Sounds about right. Rux, I want to go to one of your BBQs.

.  In fact, I really needed to be talked back from the ledge of the subway platform when they announced him.

If you had been on the edge of an escalator, i would have given you a push

I'm okay with I think all the moves individually so far--though I don't fully understand Pitlick and Stewart

Pitlick is here to give us endless jokes regarding his last name

Stewart is obviously the designated team nickname giver. You can never have two many guys skilled like that

Fletch has already figured out this forum and has manipulated us well. He knows we will be too busy having a stroke over those two, to spend time complaining about other moves

Hey @OccamsRazor got a link?

I’m blacked out. Apparently I’m designated both Habs and Sens territory. Yuck.

Ice tilted a wee bit towards the Philly goal, no?

No score, but I'd say the Habs are ahead territorially.
At least Hart looks like he is tracking the puck well in the early going.

I hope if and when it happens the refs let the tap on the hands go like there did there on TK when the Flyers do it...that was a clear penalty.

Habs looked like world beaters early on, got nothing for it, now clinging for dear life as it's been all Flyers as the period winds down.

It will take time with all these kids on the roster.

As long as they win it's all good.

10 of the skaters on this team tonight are 24 or younger.

I have the Habs feed tonight.  They showed a graphic that had all the Flyers 1st round picks that are on the roster.  There were about 10 names in the list ands there are 4 others that were drafted by other teams.  They noted that all but 2 (JVR and Patrick) were later picks from later in the round.

First round picks by other teams are Jake, Hayes, Pitlick and Niskanen.

Flyers 1st

Giroux, Coots, TK, Farabee, JVR, Provorov and Sanheim.

And Laughton and Patrick if they were healthy.

Am I forgetting someone?

Good win.  They stayed the course despite blowing the lead.  Coots sealed the deal but he youngins played well.  This team is much more fund to watch than last year's.  This stretch of games will be a good test; tonight's game was a good start.

Nice win. The game almost slipped away but they came through.

I’m really starting to think that Provorov/Myers is our top pairing of the future. Damn Myers is impressive and when he’s ready, I think he’s a great counterpoint to Ivan.

Ain't it funny how sometimes there's information we don't have on a message board?

Ain't it funny filling a "need" for "next year" with a seven year contract?

Will never understand that "rationale".

You can live a whole life and never do anything to earn a nickname like that. Highest compliment a teammate can give you: consistently bringing the jam, every game, every shift.

Loved this trade.   Honestly. Part of it probably is I never quite warmed to Gudas.   But i just really liked it. Count me among those who doesn't miss Gudas.   I didn't hate him, but I don't miss him.    I'm kind of curious to know what they're saying on Capitals' boards.  I wonder if they still think they fleeced us.

Like i said in an earlier post (or maybe just in my head), the Flyer organization has done a great job with the pregame theatrics and presentation. The arena was excellent, Gritty will eventually rule the world, and the videos and music get you fired up. The fan store is really too notch.   Then the game started , and i got bored and the electricity dissipated. Then i spent $20 on a beer and a cup of coffee, then $7 on a box of popcorn. At that point i was depressed and emotionally det
