lynxrattle
The Coyotes seem so much faster than us. We should probably play a defensive style that gives the fringes of our defensive zone to the opponent, and defend only the main scoring areas. That would probably need good goal tending, but still. Our team is too slow to run around with the faster players on most other teams.

lynxrattle
Yup. There's probably like 3 others as slow as us. All the others are modern teams.
IllaZilla
I spent a rather enjoyable dinner at Invictus Brewing/The Tipsy Steer. I’m so glad my wife didn’t get tickets through her work to see this dumpster fire of a team. 1
EmptyShelf
We look decrepit. Outside of 1-3 guys on Wild (2 of which are in the back), we look old, slow, and incapable.
EmptyShelf
I am also itching for them just to flip the order of the lines to just try something different. I just hate Parise, Koivu, and Suter's games at this stage. another worthless PP with those 3 idiots on ice.

You could probably drag a team of hall of famers out of retirement that would be faster than the Wild...
lynxrattle
PP is a chance to get back to this game - a post...

EmptyShelf
Well....every time that line works and gets a goal, we are stuck with 25 more games of stubbornly trying to find another goal from them.

EmptyShelf
ever noticed how many dogshit passes we make (behind, in the skates, no looks, out sized stretch passes)? It is a pretty simple skill that we don't do well

What was even more weird was that the next pass was good too! Most of the time it's just horrible.
lynxrattle
Speak of the devil. Some bad passing, no good changing of lines, because of that, 3-0.
lynxrattle
Plus the Dubnyk we know.

EmptyShelf
Suter just got used, then dogged it back and DD bailed him out with a glove save. If I was a coach, I would burn two holes through that douche every time he came back to the bench post one of his 3:30 shifts
lynxrattle
If one thinks of just that one thing, passing. It should be automatic at this level. An NHL team that needs to concentrate on passing? That can't pass without wasting concentration on that?! It's unreal.
IllaZilla
I think it’s pretty apparent why Phil Kessel didn’t want to come to the Wild...
