Nino with some defensive lapses too. He's not been that good for the Canes this season.

Continues from where he left off with the Wild. Rask has been the better of those two in this game.

For a bottom feeder team this game is lacking nothing. Jump, emotion, goals, close calls... loving it!

We're getting those chances, but... dang that Hartman. There's his 3rd period regular 2 min again..

My $hitty Mediacom went out when we were down 3-1.  Great service?!?  Canned the crappy Dish before this.  What happened to the days of reliable TV and Cable?  Must be why the Wild have turned the corner in this game.....😁

Dang, Brodin is such a smooth skater! Too bad nothing much really comes of it...

I would let Brodin play on PP.  He has had some big slappers from time-to-time.  I think he has allowed Spurgeon to take his opportunity, then Dumba.  Time to retire the limp-wrister's TOI and give Brodin more opportunities?

I love how our guys always fight each other for the puck which ends up with neither player getting it and the other team gets a chance because of it.

I wonder why that happens. Too little practice, unclear system, too eager, no communication or what?

Out of the top 4 defensemen over the last five seasons, Brodin shoots the least. By a lot. He’s got 450 shots, Dumba has 679. And he’s played in 40 more games than Dumba. He’s just not a shooter.

Wow the crowd is happy too! First time this season?

The Wild haven’t really given the fans much to cheer about...

Well played against a better team, I think. Dubnyk was absolutely horrible. With decent goal tending we might have even won this one.

At least Stalock will own up to his mistakes.    I'm not done with the team, but I’m not expecting a St Louis Miracle from this group, either. I don’t believe in the “Just get in the Playoffs and anything can happen”. That’s like saying you have a 50-50 chance of winning the lottery: either you’ll win or you won’t.  I found it interesting Boudreau is playing that GEEK line a lot more, and in more critical situations. Also found it interesting 9, 11 and 20 weren’t even in the OT co

Last years Blues were built to make a run at the Cup. But as we all know Mike Yeo couldn’t coach his way out of a paper bag and Jake Allen looked like the second coming of Dan Cloutier. Replace Yeo with a guy who actually has two gray cells to rub together and change the goalie out for some guy that had been playing in the Blues system for four years and suddenly they start playing like they should have all along. They didn’t squeak into the playoffs. They kicked in the door and set it on fire.

This is how excited I am over this team. I was offered free tickets to today’s tilt and yet chose to go work clothes shopping for the Mrs.

I’m not saying that 2008 team would have gone all the way. I’m just saying I think that was probably the most talented line up the Wild had. Guys in their prime complemented with some good veterans. And having a coach like Lemaire would have given them a distinct edge in the Playoffs.  That 2008 team would’ve skated circles around the current team...
