MNSOTA wrote up the game preview and I'm on the post-gamer for this evening.  The Wild should be fairly well-rested and ready to play an inconsistent team like the Sabres.  It will be interesting to see who Boudreau opts for between the pipes after Dubnyk's latest ugly outing.  Enjoy and discuss...

Oh, I'm sure Dubnyk will get the start. Because:

1. Gotta get his confidence back up; or

2. Gotta get him back out there after a bad outing. You know, get right back on the horse that threw you...

And I'm always leery of a "well rested" Wild. They always seem to come out of the gate like they just woke up from a nap after more than a day off...

I would say our team should be ready for a surprise from a Sabres and not to be too happy to play against. Angry overall Wild's mood should be prevailing at least for the next 2-3 months(probably till the mid of March). The team must make the fans to be happy first of all, but not themselves. Hope, the team not gave up for the season, but always be in a persistent creative run. With Cinderella or without it, their feet(and maybe something else) should be moving the most intense this season because we are living in the State of Hockey but not in a Banana State.

This should a winnable game. The Sabres have been lousy recently and are probably thinking that their great start to the season might not be for real. The Wild should be able to show that they are really just an ugly twin sister.

Winnable for both teams. I wouldn't exactly describe the Sabres as underdogs to win it. Especially if Mr Softie starts.

Well spank my ass and call me Judy, but Stalock gets the start.

Boudreau must have seen enough last game to sit Dubnyk. Maybe we are going to see the beginning of a 1A/1B rotation?

Maybe we are going to see the beginning...

Something wrong with a calculation of views of this thread. It shows - zero views. I opened already few times this thread at my work and at home. I think on 6 replies it should be at least 30 views.

I'm finally here. Had to make dinner after work. Honestly, I just want to crawl into bed. We stayed up late last night to watch the final episode of "The Man In High Castle."

Didn’t miss much. Kind of back and forth by both teams. Parise scores and then the Wild kind of sat back. Seemed to be picking it up now though...
