RonJeremy
Rubstov has a shoulder injury ,not sure if it’s the same shoulder that kept him out all of last year or how serious it is. It’s amazing how three of our first round picks Morin, Rubstov and Patrick have had their careers setback due to injuries.

Last I looked Ratcliffe was out injured too.

RonJeremy
Only the Flyers could have such luck with 3 first rounders having these kind of injuries. Morin probably will never play for the Flyers and if they havent figured out Patricks meds by now , its not looking good for him either.

Now we have to face the facts that Morin and Patrick are probably busts.
RonJeremy
We can also put Wade Allison on the list, suddenly the Flyers deep pool of prospects isnt so deep. Anyone know if Allison is playing now?

Allison will still be getting a year or two in the AHL I would say.

It sucks that hes lost a year and a half, he was looking real good . He could have replaced some of the grit and toughness we lost with Simmonds , he probably would be NHL ready by now if not for the injuries. Yeah but it's a physical contact sport and injuries are a part of the game. We've seen guys blow an ACL out in the open with no one touching them before . It happens. Injury luck or lack of it can kill a team. Look no further than the Eagles missing all 3 of their starting receivers their starting running back and their pro bowl right tackle and right guard this past Seahawks game. Sometimes it isn't who's the best team left standing but the deepest team. The Eagles won a Super bowl with a rash of injuries. And since then the injuries have decimated them and their record reflects it.

I hear what your saying but the Eagles injuries are to older players, Jackson, Sproles, Peters, Jeffrey , etc. The Flyers are all young guys, either way its discouraging. Howard is 24. An injury is a injury.

Not necessarily , most of the Eagles injuries are to older veteran players who are breaking down due to age / wear and tear. All the Flyers injured players are in their early 20s with Morin being the oldest at 24. Just crappy luck.
