Greetings:

The Flyers are heavy underdogs at Nationwide:

Our historical performance at Columbus is nightmarish:

This game and the upcoming tilts with Detroit and Montreal mark the end of a busy November.  Let's hope for the best.

Greetings:

After a slow start, CBS has won four of five.  Both teams rank in the bottom 10 five-on-five; so, special teams may be important.  It looks like Moose between the pipes. JVR on the 4th line....OMG.

My brother balled me out for not having more faith in the team after they fell behind.  There is some truth to that!

I guess the fourth line earned its keep as did G and Moose.  They could have caved or given up the lead in the third.  Moose earned his keep.

Pitlick will never score a bundle but he works and seems to be pretty responsible.  He and Raffl were doing a lot to keep CBS bottled up in their zone during the third period.

Good win....

What has happened to Oskar?? Has he hit a wall??

He was on a tear and then zero points in the last 5 on 2 over the last 8.

I'm sure Jake on his opposite wing isn't helping at all....Jake in place of TK is a huge downgrade.

Good question. Our lines in general just aren't generating any scoring.

Jake is my least favourite player to watch.

Jake is the anti-Couturier: he makes the players around him worse.

He was better with TK.

I kind of see Lindblom as a more talented Raffl. They're both solid possession guys who are tenacious on the puck and great at doing a lot of little things right. The difference is Lindblom can also score.

That said, I don't think Lindblom is a true playdriver. He needs the TKs and the Couts to bring out his talent. Jake is... not the kind of guy who really makes other players better.
