mojo1917 - Posted@OccamsRazor Correct I don't change 93 14 23 28 48 11 49 13 21 All those lines work.... So, if JvR turns into a 7mm aav 13th forward...I hope he can be as cool as Chris Stewart has been. Trade him outta here if the deal is good or to do him a solid...but I don't think he's been as bad as "many people" ® Donald J Trump have been saying. I think his game is 75 ft and he needs a certain set of linemates to "fill it up". I don't think he can "get hi -

Miles - PostedI honestly think that the wild are a solid goaltender and 1 top line scorer from being a real contender. The defense is great and the whole team is playing as a team. I don't know what really happens in the locker room since I'm not apart of the team, but when I watch this team, I get a real sense of brotherhood. Maybe Zucker's comments were needed to fire them up, but either way, this team is fun to watch -

Miles - PostedI dont understand why they would want it. A single player, even a #1 is going to be 3 years before they can make a difference. a tank would take 5 years to recover from. Look at the sabres, they get several great picks caused from the tank years (reinhardt, eichel, middlestat, dahlin, cozens) and they still are not good, and its been 5 years. Is that what they want, 5 years of garbage hockey before a glimmer of hope. I know I dont. I was a big sabres fan and I started watching -

WordsOfWisdom - PostedIt's that time of year (and that position in the standings) where Leafs management, fans, and media need to stop dreaming about this season and start thinking about what needs to be changed on this team for it to return to the playoffs next season. If you were the Leafs GM Dubas (put on a pair of frames with no glass to pretend), what moves would you make to improve this Leafs team? Trade a few of Toronto's big name forwards for 1st round draft picks? (Mini-rebuild) -

mojo1917 - PostedSorry to disagree Howie, but at no point in that game did I think, 'Wow the Coyotes are really buzzing', they weren't "hungrier', unless you're talkng about Phil Kessel thinking about burritos. That game was won by Darcy Keumper, win by the goalie, die by the goalie- we've had our share of nights where Moose or Hartsy were our best players too. As a general note, I don't think I would enjoy watching my team play the Coyotes 4 times a year, they interfere, they grab jerseys, h -

WordsOfWisdom - PostedMaybe he figured it would take the Av's longer to score on a breakaway than it would on the Leafs "penalty kill". -

Hockey-78 - PostedYeah, but you asked yourself what's "the biggest winning streak" they can achieve? Now it's 5 but after the next five games it'll be a 10 game winning streak. 😉 Well, after Dubnyk gets back we're back to normal. Dubnyk is the perfect tank commander. -

flyercanuck - Posted@Poulin20 First of all, I really appreciate your posts from the STH meetings (well...ALL your posts but especially these ones). I'm also glad to hear someone else complain about the bs gimmickry that sports has gone to, to "entertain" the fan base. I want to be entertained by the sport, not lights and sh!tty music. I won't miss the playing of God Bless America by Kate, but the way they did her was wrong. Maybe if they'd only have played it during importan

I don't think its just the vets, or just the kids. The truth is this team is playing like a team. As Spurgeon and Koivu went down throughout, the team was forced to mix pairings and lines there did not seem to be much of a let down. Everyone stepped up and to me you could see that unselfishness on the game winning goal. Rask helps win a battle for the puck along the wall, Parise picks it up and then finds Carson Soucy moving into the slot for the game winner. I am not sure it would've happe -

Speaking of Boston in first place - I see yesterday they signed ol' Charlie to 6 years/31.5mm/5.25mm AAV... Not bad - but his numbers must have improved once playing there... Let's hope the Wild show and play like they did on Sunday - the Panthers are a tricky team... -

I don't know. He's on pace for 15 goals and 30 assists right now. Not much better than he did with the Wild. Talking to another Bruin fan he's not too upset with the contract, but he did say that there are times where he doesn't even realize Coyle has been on the ice... -

So last winter, at Aldi's they sold these packets of fondue cheese....I just stuck them into the freezer because we weren't ready to do fondue then. So tonight, I thawed one out to have with some chips along with sandwiches for dinner. Holy bucket, Aldi's got the cheese right, even using kirsch (or cherry brandy) as one of the ingredients. I'm impressed.
