Howie58
Greetings: The O and B are a heavy favorite. The Rangers are a -2 on goal differential and haven't played well in back-to-backs. https://pickdawgz.com/nhl-picks/2019/12/23/philadelphia-flyers-vs-new-york-rangers-12/23/19-nhl-pick-odds-and-prediction Let's hope the home team scores early and keeps the Rangers chasing the game. Raffl, Patrick, Laughton, Lindblom.... all out. Andreoff, Vorobyev, NAK....all in. That lineup - even while adding back in Raffl and Laughton - looks like a #6-9 finish in the conference and a first round exit. Not saying that's all bad, as it will get the kids some playoff experience, it's just hard to not look at the "what could have been." Because with a healthy Patrick at 3C, health Lindblom on the wing and Raffl and Laughton on the 4th line.....oh what could have been. 28 Claude Giroux - 14 Sean Couturier - 11 Travis Konecny25 James van Riemsdyk - 13 Kevin Hayes - 93 Jakub Voracek49 Joel Farabee - 19 Nolan Patrick - 48 Morgan Frost12 Michael Raffl - 21 Laughton - 18 Tyler Pitlick Now that is one that I could see going to the 2nd or even 3rd round depending on health and opponent. Popular Post mojo1917
I'm just glad they're playing a team I hate for the holidays. I was able to work up a pretty good hatred for the stinkin' Senators. But those western teams...eh, can't seem to care. Now the Rangers...ohh, I've hated them for so long it's like picking up your first POS guitar when you find it in the attic, you just know all the places on the neck where that thing sounds the best...just like the way a Rangers fan's esophagus gurgles when you're choking them out in the entrance to the men's room...good times. 2

I know right after upsetting the Cowgirls. What a early Christmas present. Now they get a chance to beat the Rags and then beat the Giants to win the NFC East. I sure hope they can finish. It would be nice to get some injured players back for real.

What.....could....have....been...... Yeah; I guess we have to ask some questions about long-term loss of Patrick and Morin. Candidly, I doubt we see either one in a Flyer uniform again. The "souring" of two first rounders in relatively short order has to hurt. The sickness-injury plague doesn't help.

Hey Howie - I think Patrick is back in a Flyer's uniform next October at the latest, but I'm still holding out hope for January/Feb this year. There have been some examples of players having migraine problems and getting a handle on them. Unfortunately, I think Morin has seen his last days in the NHL for any team. I feel bad for the guy.

jammer2
A 5-3 Flyers victory coming up...Mr.hot&cold JVR stays hot with the game winning goal. 2 goals from the new Frost/Farabee/Vorachek line...which I'm calling "2 Rooks & Dr.Hook" line...and at least one...maybe 2 spirited bouts between Lemieux and Andreoff. Howie58
Glad we're tied at 1 heading into the third. This looks like a goalie dual. We need to get this PP fixed. Our captain needs to earn his stripes.
